About Us

We are the women engineers of Altieri. We are a team of paradigm shifters driven by excellence, innovation, and vision. We came to engineering from different backgrounds and along different paths. With two exceptions, we did not dream of being engineers. Growing up, we wanted to be a teacher, doctor, archaeologist, geologist, veterinarian, movie set designer, and trapeze artist. Today, we share a passion for MEPF engineering design.

We work in all trades: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF). We have a total of 190 years of engineering experience between us. 190 years! We are honored to work on scores of exciting, challenging, and impactful projects. It is near impossible for us to pick just one favorite, but right now the Obama Presidential Center is leading the pack. Corning Museum of Glass and Wildflower Studios are also resounding favorites. For our Senior Plumbing Designer, first place is the first time she designed a fountain – in front of the Guggenheim Museum, no less!

We have much to talk about and we know you do too. We are looking forward to sharing our expertise and experiences, bringing you food for thought, and engaging in compelling (and essential) conversations about one of our favorite topics, women in engineering! We hope you will join us.
